(Austin, TX)- Country music artist Alan Jackson will embark on a tour later this summer and he has scheduled a stop in Austin on Friday, October 24 at the Frank Erwin Center. The concert includes special guest Joe Nichols and the show will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets on sale now.
Georgia-native Alan Jackson was born in October of 1958 and began his country music career with his first album Here In The Real World, which made its debut in 1989. Since then, Jackson has sold over 36 million albums worldwide. Jackson's latest song, "It's Five O' clock Somewhere," recorded with friend Jimmy Buffet, will be included on his yet-to-be titled Arista Nashville greatest hits album, scheduled for a late August or early September release. Alan Jackson has been wowing country music fans for almost 15 years. Not to shabby for an artist that most recently won two Academy of Country Music Awards- one for Video of the Year for the song, "Drive" and the second one for Album of the Year for the album of the same name.
