“Heart” Emojis And Their Meaning

There is a website Emojipedia and for Valentine’s Day, they looked at how we used the various “heart” emojis, and what they mean. So if you plan on using any for special text or post here ya go!

1. Normal red hearts are the most likely to be used in a flirtatious way.

2. The pink heart with sparkles is used to show affection, appreciation, and gratitude.

3. Purple hearts are popular with fans of the Korean boy band BTS for some reason. And fans of the group NCT like to use green hearts.

4. The blue heart is the most neutral. So a lot of brands use it on Twitter.

5. White hearts are used a lot when talking about someone who passed away.

6. The broken heart emoji is used to convey sadness, discomfort, and awkwardness.

Now you can safely use the right heart for the right meaning this Valentine’s Day!
