San Antonio, TX — As cold temperatures have closed in on Texas, schools are closing and canceling classes for Friday.

School Closings for Friday, February 4, 2022:

• AVANCE Child Development Centers: Closed on Friday, February 4.
• Bandera ISD: All Bandera ISD classes are canceled and all offices will be closed on Friday, February 4.
• Boerne ISD: All Boerne ISD classes are canceled and all offices will be closed on Friday, February 4.
• Brooks Academies of Texas: Campuses will remain closed Friday February 4.
• Comal ISD: All Comal ISD campuses and departments will be closed Friday, Feb. 4.
• Comfort ISD: Comfort ISD will be closed on Friday, February 4.
• Divide ISD Divide ISD will be closed on Friday, February 4.
• Doss CCSD: Doss CCSD extends its weather closure to now include Friday, February 4.
• East Central ISD: All schools in the district will be closed Friday, Feb. 4. Monday, Feb. 7 is a staff development day and student holiday. School will resume Tuesday. Feb. 8.
• Edgewood ISD: Classes will be canceled on Friday, February 4. Extracurricular activities will also be canceled.
• George Gervin Academy: Closed Friday.
• Floresville ISD: Campuses and offices will be closed on Friday, February 4.
• Harlandale ISD: All district offices and schools will be closed on Friday, February 4. All athletic events scheduled for Friday, February 4th will be rescheduled.
• Hondo ISD: Closed Friday, February 4.
• Hunt ISD: Hunt ISD will be closed Friday, February 4.
• Leakey ISD: Leakey ISD will be closed on Friday, February 4.
• Lighthouse Public Schools: Closed on Friday, February 4.
• Medina Valley ISD: Medina Valley ISD schools and offices will remain closed on Friday, February 4. All extracurricular activities have also been canceled.
• New Frontiers Public Schools: Frank L. Madla Early College High School will close February 4. District office staff will be available remotely.
• North East ISD: NEISD will close all schools and offices Friday, Feb. 4.
• Northside ISD: NISD schools and offices will be closed again on Friday, Feb. 4. All extracurricular activities are postponed.
• Poteet ISD: Poteet ISD will be closed Friday, February 4.
• Pleasanton ISD: Pleasanton ISD will be closed, Friday, February 4.
• Pre-K 4 SA: Pre-K 4 SA has canceled all classes on Friday, Feb. 4 at all four education centers
• Randolph Field ISD: Randolph Field ISD will remain closed Friday, Feb. 4.
• San Antonio ISD: SAISD schools and offices will remain closed on Friday, Feb. 4. Additionally, the final Superintendent Town Hall scheduled for Friday has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m., either in-person at Highlands High School or via Zoom.
• Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD: SCUCISD schools and offices will be closed Friday, Feb. 4. All extracurricular activities scheduled for Friday evening will be rescheduled.
• School of Science and Technology: SST Schools in San Antonio and Schertz will remain closed Friday, February 4.
• Somerset ISD: All Somerset ISD schools and offices will be closed for Friday, Feb. 4.
• South San Antonio ISD: Closed on Friday, February 4. All other activities remain canceled including any sporting events, academic events, or meetings.
• Southside ISD: All schools and offices are closed on Friday, February 4. All extracurricular activities will be canceled.
• Southwest ISD: Southwest ISD schools and administrative offices will remain closed through Friday, February 4. In addition, all extracurricular activities and events are postponed.
• Southwest Preparatory School District: All campuses and offices in San Antonio and Seguin will be closed on Friday, February 4. All scheduled extracurricular activities for Friday are also canceled.
• Seguin ISD: Seguin ISD schools and offices will be closed on Friday, Feb. 4.
• Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children: Closed Friday, Feb. 4.
• The Arc of San Antonio Adult Life Enrichment program: Closed on Friday, February 4.
