While this movie is a classic, the newer version is my favorite. Miracle on 34th Street is all about believing, even when things are not going your way or you have lost hope. This cast was so great in the 1994 version. Mara Wilson, Elizabeth Perkins, Dylan McDermott and Richard Attenborough as Kris Kringle. The roles were perfectly cast and it told the classic story in a fantastic way. This was also a time when Mara Wilson was becoming quite the popular child actress. I may or may not have in the past watched the original and then turned right around and watched this one I love it so much. Plus this came at a time in my life when I was obsessed with Manhattan.
